ROC Water has previously collaborated and still collaborates with TUT through mentoring/supervising masters and PhD students. Since then, several students have graduated with their postgraduate degrees.

Collaboration between ROC Water and UNISA/JAR Partners is conducted through postgraduate student supervision and Postdoctoral research work. This partnership will ensure that ROC Water introduces and implements Freeze Crystallization technology in China and the rest of the world.
